Jonny Hayes Hits Back at Rangers Fan After Sarcastic Comment to Mikael Lustig

Jonny Hayes hit back at a Rangers fan after seeing a sarcastic comment to Mikael Lustig in response to his social media exit hint.

The Celtic winger was among those reacting to the Swede’s Instagram post yesterday which appeared to hint at an exit from the club this summer.

But there were also plenty of reactions from fans – both positive and negative.

Lustig is popular among a lot of the Celtic support, but isn’t liked much by many rival Rangers supporters.

And one of the latter decided to poke some fun at Lustig in the comments of his Instagram post.

Hayes wasn’t having any of that:

As you can see from the likes on Hayes’ comment, it’s proven popular with Celtic fans.

Lustig’s contract is due to expire at Celtic soon and there’s been no extension agreed with the club.

Lustig did say earlier this week that his future could have been handled differently over the last few weeks of the season.
