Plenty of Man Utd Fans Are Hoping Roy Keane is About to Return to Old Trafford

Roy Keane has left Nottingham Forest today – and there’s plenty of Manchester United fans who are hoping he’s on his way back to Old Trafford this summer.

Keane had been the assistant manager at Forest under Martin O’Neill, but the English Championship club announced earlier today that the Irishman would be leaving his post at the City Ground in order to concentrate on his own managerial career.

Well, United obviously have a manager in place at the minute in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was one of Keane’s former team-mates.

However, there’s plenty of Red Devils supporters who would love to see Keane continue in an assistant manager’s role – but this time at the Theatre of Dreams:

We reckon the odds of this actually happening are pretty slim indeed, but do you think there’s any way Keane would consider returning to his former club in a coaching capacity?
