Man Utd Fans Left Pretty Underwhelmed by Daniel James’s Display in Croatia v Wales

New Manchester United signing Daniel James was on show for Wales against Croatia this afternoon but plenty of Red Devils supporters weren’t particularly bowled over by the speedy winger’s display.

The Welsh – managed by United legend Ryan Giggs – were beaten 2-1 in their latest Euro 2020 qualifier in Osijek, with Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic taking advantage of some pretty shambolic defending to score the eventual winning goal early in the second-half.

But all eyes were on James at kick-off, following his £18 million move from Swansea to Old Trafford earlier this week, but despite a couple of glimpses of class and his lightning pace, the 21-year-old didn’t exactly pull up any trees – much to the frustration of United fans watching at home:

Of course, United will be undergoing plenty of surgery in this summer’s transfer market, but do you think James will become a key player under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer next season?
