Kieran Tierney Leaving Austria to Continue Rehab NOT to Join Arsenal, Says Tam McManus

Kieran Tierney is flying back to the UK today to continue his rehab – NOT to join Arsenal, according to BBC pundit Tam McManus.

As we’ve told you previously, Celtic left-back Tierney has been constantly linked with a move to the Gunners this summer, but flew out to Austria last week for the Hoops’ pre-season training camp.

Rumours began to circulate on social media earlier today that Tierney could be about to trade the East End of Glasgow for North London, but ex-Hibs striker McManus insists Celtic supporters have nothing to worry about – for now, at least:

We should mention that it was just earlier this week that McManus was reassuring Celtic supporters that their club’s move for Motherwell’s David Turnbull would go through, only for the midfielder’s £3 million transfer to sensationally collapse.

But what do you think of Tierney’s situation? Will he end up an Arsenal player before the English transfer window slams shut on August 8?
