Released Rangers Youngster Liam Burt’s ‘God’s Plan’ Post Hints at Celtic Move.. He’s Also Deleted All Gers Posts

Liam Burt’s most recent Instagram Story post hints that he may be on his way to Celtic this summer.

The 20-year-old midfielder came to the end of his Ibrox contract in the summer, leaving the club after more than four years there as a youth player.

Burt actually made his debut for the Gers first team in 2016 as a 17-year-old, but only made two more first team appearances and failed to get a look in at all over the last two campaigns.

He spent more time out on loan with Dumbarton and Alloa over recent seasons and obviously didn’t do enough to impress Steven Gerrard.

But he now appears to have got a chance at Celtic, sharing this post earlier.

It shows Burt driving into Celtic’s Lennoxtown training ground alongside the lyrics to Drake’s hit song ‘God’s Plan’:

Since then, it’s been noticed that Burt has also deleted all of the Rangers related posts from his Instagram account.

It’s surprising that Burt is even training with Celtic, but would it be a shock if the Scottish champions were to hand him a deal?
