Scott Bain Sends Out Message to Celtic Over Oli Burke

Scott Bain has sent out a message to Celtic over Oli Burke and his future.

The Hoops goalkeeper is currently enjoying some time off after being involved in the Scotland squad for Euro 2020 qualifiers with Cyprus and Belgium over the last week.

Bain didn’t play at all, but had to sit on the bench for both games – a more low key end to a season spent as Celtic number one for the majority of the time.

And it won’t be long before he’s back in pre-season training for Neil Lennon’s side.

But first, he’s got some time off to enjoy.

It appears some of the Celtic team are off on holiday together, with Bain posting on his Instagram Story alongside Kieran Tierney, James Forrest and Callum McGregor.

And Burke must be there too as Bain posed for a selfie alongside his pal before posting it to Instagram.

Burke is set to return to West Brom this summer after spending the second half of the season on loan at Celtic.

It was an inconsistent spell north of the border for Burke, but Bain appears in no doubt about what should happen going forward.

He’s sent a message out to Celtic over Burke:

Obviously what Bain wants isn’t going to have any impact on what Celtic decide to do with Burke.

He was a £15million signing for West Brom from RB Leipzig in 2017 so it’s likely the Hoops will have to pay a big fee if they are to persuade the Baggies to sell him.
