Video: ‘Delighted’ Scott Allan Promises Hibs Fans He’s Better Player Than 4 Years Ago

A ‘delighted’ Scott Allan has promised Hibernian supporters that he’s a better player than the one that left Easter Road four years ago.

Having just been crowned the Championship’s Player of the Year, the in-demand midfielder departed Hibs in the summer of 2015 to sign for Celtic, after controversially snubbing their Old Firm rivals Rangers.

However, Allan, now 27, went on to make just 13 Premiership appearances for the Hoops over the course of his contract, and he’s returned to Hibs on a free transfer this month.

Of course, Allan returned to the Edinburgh club on-loan during Neil Lennon’s spell as manager, but now he’s back permanently he’s promised he’s improved- whilst also speaking of his excitement at working under Paul Heckingbottom:

Do you think Allan will go on to star for Hibs under Heckingbottom in the forthcoming campaign?

And how will he fit into his new manager’s style of play?
