Video: Lee Bowyer Says Joe Aribo Should’ve Joined Brentford Over Rangers

Furious Charlton manager Lee Bowyer has hit out at Joe Aribo‘s decision to sign for Rangers – and insists joining Brentford would’ve been a better move for the midfielder.

The Gers have been linked with a move for Charlton’s powerful 22-year-old for several weeks now and confirmed the transfer via their social media channels earlier today.

However, Aribo’s decision to move to Glasgow and play in the Scottish Premiership has bitterly disappointed his now former boss, who appeared on Jim White’s talkSPORT radio show this morning.

And the ex-Leeds, Newcastle and West Ham player certainly didn’t hold back in letting Aribo – and the rest of the world – know just how unhappy he is with the transfer:

What do you think of Bowyer’s comments? Would joining Brentford really have made more sense for Aribo’s career?

After all, there’s no denying Rangers are a far bigger club than Brentford, or Charlton, for that matter.
