England fans have a new chant for Harry Maguire – and it pays a bizarre tribute to the Leicester City centre-back’s ‘massive head’.
Thousands of Three Lions supporters are still in Portugal for the end-of-season final matches of the first edition of FIFA’s Nations League, with Gareth Southgate’s men taking on Switzerland in the third-place playoff match this afternoon.
And onlookers watching the game on TV might’ve been able to overhear a slightly odd new song for Maguire, which praises not only the size of his cranium and aerial prowess, but also his ability to supposedly drink copious amounts of Vodka and Jägermeister:
Maguire has been linked with a big-money move to both Manchester City and Manchester United this summer but regardless of where he’s playing his club football next season, we’re certainly hoping this tune doesn’t catch on.
What do you think of the chant, and Maguire’s role as England’s main centre-back?
