Video: Leo Messi’s Latest Goal For Argentina is All Different Kinds of Brilliant

Barcelona superstar Leo Messi has been up to his old tricks for Argentina by scoring an absolutely brilliant goal – whilst slaughtering the opposition defence in the process.

The mercurial 31-year-old was in action for his country in last night’s 5-1 friendly win over minnows Nicaragua, and he was in typically sensational form, coming up with two goals in the space of two minutes.

Whilst Messi doesn’t really do ‘normal’ goals, his second was particularly special, even by his stratospheric standards, as he sent defenders sprawling to the floor as he dropped his shoulder several times before coolly slotting the ball into the bottom corner:

Remarkably, Messi’s double last night was his 52nd and 53rd for his club and country during the 2018/19 season, and it’s pretty likely he’ll add to that crazy tally when Argentina’s Copa America campaign starts against Colombia on June 15.
