Alfredo Morelos Shares Story About Leaving Rangers for Crystal Palace to His Twitter Followers

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has fuelled supporters’ fears that he could be set to leave the club this summer by sharing a story about a potential transfer to Crystal Palace.

The Colombian hit-man scored for the Gers in last night’s 4-0 win over Gibraltar-based minnows St. Joseph’s in the Europa League qualifiers, but it seems the 22-year-old has his mind more on English football.

Morelos took to his official Twitter account earlier today to share a story produced by a South American transfer rumours page, who claim Palace are one of a number of English teams looking at the forward:

As we’ve told you previously, Morelos has spoken openly of his desire to play in another league on several occasions, but has he gone too far this time by actually sharing the rumours himself?

Plenty of players will be the subject of speculation, particularly on social media, but very rarely does a player actually fuel the rumours himself, eh?

What do you think?
