Arsenal Fans Convinced They’re Signing Sami Khedira After Emirates Sighting

German World Cup winner Sami Khedira has been spotted at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon – leaving Arsenal supporters convinced he’s on the verge of signing for them.

The ex-Real Madrid holding midfielder is, according to the Metro, available on a free transfer this summer after several seasons with Italian giants Juventus, after making just 12 appearances in Serie A last season.

Spotted by multiple supporters sitting in the posh seats inside Arsenal’s plush stadium during this afternoon’s Emirates Cup pre-season game between Arsenal and Lyon, it seems there’s plenty of fans who reckon he’ll soon be pulling on their iconic red and white jersey:

At 32, Khedira might not be the youthful, ultra-mobile midfielder that Gunners fans have been hoping for but he could add some much-needed steel at the heart of the North London club’s midfield – but what do you think?

Would Khedira represent a good signing for Arsenal and boss Unai Emery?
