Celtic Fans Seem Pretty Content with Champions League Qualifying Draw

The draw for the third qualifying round for the Champions League sees Celtic facing a potential trip to either Romania or Israel, and most of the Scottish club’s fans seem pretty content.

The Hoops’ quest to reach the group phase of Europe’s premier competition continues on Wednesday night when they host Estonian side Nomme Kalju, and Neil Lennon’s side have already learned their fate if they win over two legs.

Should they progress to the penultimate qualifying round, Celtic will face the winner of the tie between Romanian champs CFR Cluj and Israeli title holders Maccabi Tel-Aviv, with the Glasgow giants scheduled to be away from home in the first-leg.

Given Celtic could have been pitted against Serbian cracks Red Star Belgrade or Greek champions PAOK, most supporters seem happy to accept the fate handed to them at today’s draw in Switzerland:

What do you think of the draw?

And do you think Celtic will make it to the Champions League group stages for the first time since 2017?
