Celtic Supporters Meet Bizarre Fan on Streets of Sarajevo

Celtic supporters met a bizarre fan on the streets of Sarajevo last night.

Thousands of Hoops fans made the trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina to watch Neil Lennon’s side kick off their Champions League qualifying campaign with a 3-1 win.

It didn’t start great, though, as Sarajevo took the lead on a very rainy night.

Mirko Oremus scored the opening goal of the game and some Celtic fans could have been forgiven for panicking.

But Lennon’s side rallied to hit back through Mikey Johnstone, Odsonne Edouard and Scott Sinclair.

And that was enough to earn a 3-1 victory that puts them in the driving seat of this qualifier.

No doubt the Celtic fans in attendance enjoyed themselves – and particularly this group who were surprised to be stopped by Albanian president Ilir Meta to get a picture:

We’re not sure why Meta was there given Montenegro separates Albania and Bosnia, but it’s a funny interaction regardless.
