Celtic’s Champions League second round qualifying details have now became clearer.
Neil Lennon’s side put one foot in the second with their 3-1 win away at Sarajevo in Bosnia earlier in the week.
They now head back to Glasgow this coming Wednesday for the second leg where they’ll be fully expecting to advance to the second round.
Celtic already knew who their next potential opponents would be, but now the dates have been confirmed:
So it’s KF Shkendija of North Macedonia or Kalju of Estonia.
The first leg will take place at Celtic Park on July 24th before the second leg heads to either North Macedonia or Estonia six days later.
Shkendija are favourites to make it as they beat Kalju 1-0 in the first leg in Estonia on Tuesday now.
You’d expect them to complete the job at home next week to confirm their second round spot and most likely a tough clash with the Hoops.
