The Rangers captain has been linked with a move away from Ibrox already this summer, with Newcastle interested in signing him, according to The Daily Mail.
If the English Premier League club were to sign him then you’d have to assume he’d cost a lot of money.
But would it be £18million?
We ask that because Tavernier is valued at that number in this season’s Ladbrokes Premiership Fantasy Football game – which was launched earlier this week.Embed from Getty Images
Tavernier is actually worth more than any other defender in the game at the maximum of £18m.
The next most expensive defender is Celtic’s Kieran Tierney, who comes in at £17.5million.
And he’s followed by Kristoffer Ajer, at £16.5m, Scott McKenna, at £14.5m, and Jozo Simunovic, at £14.2m.
