Many Manchester United fans noticed Ashley Young apparently being booed in their friendly with Inter Milan.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are in Singapore taking on the Serie A side in their latest pre-season friendly and the Norwegian manager will be expecting some strong performances.
What he most likely wouldn’t have been expecting was to hear one of his players being booed.
Yet that’s what supporters who are watching United’s game believe they heard.
And it’s been confirmed by ESPN’s Rob Dawson:
United Twitter has been busy discussing the alleged booing:
It is a real shame that Young is being booed given he’s been at United for the last eight years, making 243 appearances and helping the club to win four major trophies.
Young, wearing the captain’s armband, was a second half substitute for Solskjaer’s men and is likely to get his fair share of games in the coming season.
