Neil Lennon Admits He’s ‘Not Satisfied’ with Olivier Ntcham’s Comments

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has struggled to contain his frustration towards midfielder Olivier Ntcham, whilst admitting he’s far from satisfied by recent comments

As we told you last week, the 23-year-old former Man City man has been quoted in the French media as saying he wanted to leave the Hoops for Porto last summer, whilst going on to say staying with the Premiership champions wouldn’t be best for his development.

Those comments have made their way back to Lennon, who wasn’t shy in making his feelings clear as he met with the media ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League qualifier away to FK Sarajevo:

Speaking via the Daily Record, Lennon added: “When I speak to Olivier it will be done privately but you can imagine, we find the comments untimely and not particularly accurate.

“He still has a future (at Celtic), he is under contract.

“But I will be speaking to him about his mindset and his attitude toward the club as well which, the way it came across, didn’t look good.”

Ntcham has been given extra time off for his post-season break after representing France’s Under-21 side in their European Championships campaign last month.

But what do you think of the situation?

Is there anyway Ntcham could still have a long-term future at Celtic, or is the writing on the way in terms of his time in Glasgow?
