Philippe Coutinho Removes Barcelona from His Official Instagram Account

Philippe Coutinho has heightened speculation surrounding his future this afternoon by removing Barcelona from his Instagram profile.

The Brazilian midfielder moved from Liverpool to the Catalan giants 18 months ago for a club record £140 million deal, but his time in Spain hasn’t exactly gone to plan.

The 27-year-old has failed to nail down a regular starting spot at the Nou Camp, leading to the Liverpool Echo to report that a return to Anfield could well be on the cards this summer.

And eagle-eyed fans spotted the removal of his current club from his social media channel earlier today:

According to the Express, Coutinho has been floated as a potential makeweight in the potential deal for Barcelona to re-sign Brazilian superstar Neymar from PSG this summer, and whatever happens it seems Coutinho could be on the move.

Do you think Coutinho could end up back in Liverpool’s iconic red jersey next month?
