Man City star Raheem Sterling has admitted that his former side Liverpool are one of his go-to teams on FIFA 19.
The England international broke into the Reds’ first-team as an exciting teenager under Brendan Rodgers, and quickly became a cult hero to the Liverpool supporters.
However, the 24-year-old became a villain in the eyes of the same supporters after he forced through a £50 million transfer to Manchester City back in the summer of 2015, but it seems Sterling still has a soft-spot for his former employers.
When asked which teams he picks when he plays FIFA, Sterling made a controversial confession, telling the Daily Star: “Usually PSG…and I shouldn’t say this but Liverpool.”
When Sterling departed Anfield, he did so partly because he didn’t believe Liverpool could compete for top-level trophies, but do you think there’s a little bit of him that wonders how he’d fit into Jurgen Klopp’s Champions League winning side?
What do you think?
