Some Celtic Fans Are Not Happy With Olivier Ntcham After Comments

Some Celtic fans are not happy with Olivier Ntcham after his comments about leaving the club.

The French midfielder is currently enjoying some time off after appearing for France at the Under 21 European Championships earlier this summer.

It’s expected he’ll join up with the Celtic squad in the coming week as they kick off their Champions League qualifiers against FK Sarajevo on Tuesday.

But how much will Ntcham be involved in their early season games?

You’d have to assume it won’t be much going off Ntcham’s comments, which emerged online this morning.

According to L’Equipe, via getfootballnewsfrance.com, the Celtic midfielder revealed that a move away from Glasgow is best for his career.

He said: “Celtic has given me a lot. But leaving is the best solution for me to progress.”

Ntcham added: “I have played with players who have less quality than me and who are today in top clubs, each player’s journey is different.

“I am 200% sure of myself. I am not saying that I am a complete player but I know that I will become one.”

Ntcham then insisted a move to Germany, France or Spain could interest, name checking Ligue 1 side Marseille too.
