Steven Gerrard Confirms Daniel Candeias is Negotiating with Club in Turkey

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has confirmed Daniel Candeias could be on his way out of the club, with the Portuguese winger currently negotiating with a club in Turkey.

As we told you earlier today, Genclerbirligi have reportedly launched a bid for the 31-year-old midfielder who was left out of the Gers squad for the Europa League tie against St. Joseph’s.

And following his side’s commanding 10-0 aggregate victory over the side from Gibraltar, Gerrard sat down with the media and confirmed Candeias could be heading for pastures new before the transfer window closes, despite the Ibrox club being keen on keeping him:

Rangers will now face old foes Progrès Niederkorn in the second qualifying round for the Europa League, but will they be travelling to Luxembourg with Daniel Candeias in their ranks?

And how far can Gerrard take the Gers in this year’s competition?

What do you think?
