Wilfried Zaha continued his impressive stint at the African Cup of Nations today by bagging the Ivory Coast’s crucial winner against Mali in the round of 16.
The tournament favourites progressed into the quarter-finals after a tense affair in the Egyptian city of Suez, and it was in small part due to their talisman Zaha.
The Crystal Palace winger, 26, was once capped in a friendly match by England but has gone on to represent the country of his birth, and we’re willing to bet there’s plenty of Ivorians who are pretty happy indeed that he did.
According to the Metro, Zaha has been the subject of a £40 million bid from Arsenal, but with today’s goal making him the AFCON’s joint top scorer we reckon it’s probably going to cost a few quid more than that to prise him away from Selhurst Park.
But where do you think Zaha will be playing his football throughout the 2019/20 campaign?
