Video: Behind-The-Scenes of Liverpool Friendly Shows Just How Well They Are Supported in US

Behind-the-scenes footage of Liverpool’s friendly with Sevilla at Fenway Park earlier this week show just how well they are supported in the US.

Jurgen Klopp’s men lost 2-1 to the La Liga side at the home of the Boston Red Sox, but it was a good work out as they continue preparations for another big season.

Liverpool have visited America regularly in the past and this year they’ve already played Dortmund and Sevilla – before going up against Sporting Lisbon tonight.

Some may think it’s a long distance to go so early in the season, but you can completely understand why the club do it when you see the amount of supporters who turn out to watch them.

Fenway Park was packed for Sunday’s game against Sevilla and this behind-the-scenes video from LFCTV gives you an idea of just how popular Liverpool are.

There are thousands of fans, all decked out in club gear and with many more outside of the ground looking to catch a glimpse of Klopp’s squad:

Liverpool play Sporting at Yankee Stadium later before flying back to Britain to continue pre-season.

They are actually at Murrayfield in Edinburgh on Sunday when they’ll play Napoli in a friendly.
