Video: Scott Allan Scores Very Nice Goal in Hibs Defeat to Arbroath

Scott Allan scored a very nice goal in Hibs‘ friendly defeat to Arbroath last night.

The midfielder is back at Easter Road for his third spell at the club following his release from Celtic.

And it looks like he’s wasting no time impressing Paul Heckingbottom.

Hibs may have fallen to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Dick Campbell’s Arbroath, but there were positives in the game – including Allan’s goal.

He took aim from 20 yards out in the second half and his strike flew into the top corner.

Unfortunately for Hibs, young goalkeeper Patrick Martin made two mistakes that ended up contributing to their defeat.

But it’s all about the positivity of Allan’s goal and what he could bring to Heckingbottom’s side this season:

Hibs kick off their Betfred Cup campaign against Stirling Albion a week on Saturday and you’d expect Allan to play a part in that game and the rest going forward.
