Video: Watch Patrick Roberts Score Absolute Cracker for New Club Norwich City

Former Celtic forward Patrick Roberts scored an absolute belter for his new club Norwich City yesterday – and probably left Hoops fans brokenhearted that he’s not still plying his trade in Glasgow.

The England youth international has joined the newly-promoted Canaries for their assault on the Premier League in the forthcoming season, and it looks as though Roberts is right at home amongst his new team-mates.

The 22-year-old – on-loan from parent club Man City – bagged his first goal in Norwich’s yellow and green shirts during yesterday’s 5-1 drubbing of Luton Town, with his strike ending up as the undoubted highlight of the afternoon:

Roberts spent two season on-loan at Celtic under Brendan Rodgers, and became a cult hero to Hoops supporters as he played a part in two treble-winning campaigns.

He’s about to enter the final season of his Man City deal – but do you think there’s any chance he could return to Parkhead in the future?
