Video: Wayne Rooney, Nani and Joao Felix Star in MLS All Stars Skills Challenge

Wayne Rooney, Nani and Joao Felix put on a show in the MLS All Stars Skills Challenge last night.

It’s MLS All Star weekend in Orlando so the best of the league have turned up to get involved.

The All Star game will involve DC United’s Rooney as well as Los Angeles’ Carlos Vela, Galaxy’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Orlando’s own Nani.

And they’ll go up against Atletico Madrid, who continue their tour of the US during pre-season.

Ahead of the game, MLS put on a Skills Challenge show very similar to what the NBA and NFL do ahead of their All Star/Pro Bowl games.

Rooney, Nani and Vela were all involved – and they didn’t disappoint with some brilliant displays of skill, while Joao Felix was the top performer for Atleti.

Rooney has still got that trademark accuracy in front of goal:

And Nani can finish too:

Vela and Rooney linked up for more trademark magic from the former Manchester United man:

Joao Felix dropped a brilliant crossbar challenge effort:

But Nani’s might just have been better as that was the effort to win the tournament for Orlando City:

We hope MLS continue to do stuff like this moving forward.
