Aaron Hickey has been linked with a huge move to Manchester City.
The Hearts full-back has emerged from the club’s youth academy this year to get a regular game for Craig Levein.
He made his debut against Aberdeen in May and went on to play Celtic twice after – including starting the Scottish Cup Final later that month.
Hickey – just 16 – has started the season at left back for the Jambos and quickly regained his spot after a red card at Aberdeen led to a ban.
Now, it’s being reported by The Scottish Sun that Hickey is a £1.5million target for Manchester City due to the brilliant form he’s shown since emerging.
According to the report, Pep Guardiola identified him after his appearance in the Scottish Cup Final against Celtic – which Hearts lost 2-1.
Hickey wouldn’t be a signing for the City first team, but would move to City’s development team and hopefully prove he’s good enough to make an impact in Guardiola’s top side.
