Celtic Players Past and Present Pay Tribute to Kieran Tierney After Arsenal Exit

Past and present Celtic players have paid tribute to Kieran Tierney after his exit from Arsenal.

The Scotland international yesterday sealed a £25million move to the Gunners, signing a long-term deal with the north London club.

And that was much to the disappointment of many Celtic fans, who had hoped that the defender would remain at the club at least until potentially winning 10-in-a-row.

Celtic confirmed in a statement last night that they did everything they could to keep Tierney in Glasgow, but that the player wanted to pursue this opportunity.

But there’s no ill-feeling from many of his former team-mates, both past and present Celtic players.

They took to social media after the move was made official to pay tribute to Tierney:

Several others took to Tierney’s farewell Instagram post to pay tribute too:

Tierney will now join Unai Emery’s squad and continue his recovery from injury to make his debut over the coming weeks.
