Celtic Target Greg Taylor Out of Kilmarnock Squad to Face Aberdeen

Greg Taylor is absent from the Kilmarnock squad to face Aberdeen today – amid reports Celtic want to sign him.

The Scotland full-back has emerged as a target for the Hoops over recent days, with The Daily Record reporting that the champions have enquired about him already.

There’s been no concrete offer reported yet, but that same story claims the Rugby Park club placed a £3million valuation on him.

And now Taylor is nowhere to be seen in the Killie squad to face Aberdeen this afternoon:

It’s also been reported by The Daily Record that Taylor took no part in training on Friday, but that a hamstring injury is the reason why.

But Celtic fans will find it interesting that Taylor – usually so reliable for Killie – is nowhere to be seen so soon after being linked with a move to them.

Taylor has played in all five of Killie’s games so far this season and his 42 total games last season included a Scotland debut in June.
