Celtic’s Green Brigade Unfurl Banner Urging Board Not to Fall Asleep at the Wheel

Celtic‘s premier fan group The Green Brigade unfurled a tifo banner tonight urging the club’s board not to fall asleep at the wheel – whilst depicting the hierarchy driving a car.

Ahead of the Hoops’ Europa League playoff tie against AIK Stockholm this evening, the Premiership champions’ supporters voiced their anger at the current goings on behind-the-scenes, particularly following last week’s farcical exit from the Champions League to Romanian minnows CFR Cluj.

Former goalkeeper Fraser Forster looks set to return to Celtic on a season-long loan deal from Southampton, but the general consensus – certainly in tonight’s message – seems to be that the Bhoys board haven’t quite coughed-up enough dough for manager Neil Lennon to spend in the transfer market:

Unlike in English football, Celtic still have until September 2 to sign and sell players, but do you expect any more incomings before the deadline?

And if so, where desperately needs to be strengthened?
