Chelsea Fans Completely Bewildered by Kante and Pulisic Omissions at Man Utd

Frank Lampard has decided to leave both N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic on the bench for Chelsea‘s Premier League opener against Manchester United this afternoon – leaving Blues fans completely bewildered.

Club legend Lampard takes charge of his first match in charge of the Stamford Bridge side away at Old Trafford today and you’d have thought he’d have opted for as much experience in the starting XI as possible, despite his reputation for blooding young and hungry talent at Derby County.

But despite today’s tough task, World Cup-winning pair Kante and Olivier Giroud are left on the bench, alongside £58 million former Borussia Dortmund man Pulisic.

To say Chelsea supporters were slightly confused by the team would be a bit of an understatement:

What do you think of Lampard’s first team selection, and the reaction?

And where will Chelsea finish in the Premier League this season?
