Derek McInnes Taking A Lot of Stick From Aberdeen Fans Despite Cup Win at Dundee

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes is taking a serious amount of stick from Dons supporters this afternoon, despite winning at Dens Park.

McInnes and his players looked as though they were heading for a third straight defeat and elimination from the Betfred Cup following Danny Johnson’s early penalty, with the score poised at 1-0 in the closing stages.

But Andrew Considine’s 90th minute equaliser forced extra-time, and the in-form Sam Cosgrove headed home the eventual winner to send Aberdeen through to the last-eight.

However, today’s performance – coupled with being knocked out of the Europa League in pretty meek fashion on Thursday – has left plenty of the club’s supporters pretty frustrated, many of whom took part in the #McInnesOut on Twitter:

Aberdeen now face a trip to Tynecastle to face Hearts in the quart-finals, but do you think McInnes is under serious pressure to keep his job?
