Greg Taylor liked a recent story about his potential move to Celtic before the end of the transfer window.
The Kilmarnock defender has emerged as a target for the Hoops, according to The Daily Record.
Per that story, Celtic enquired with the Rugby Park club but were told that they would need to pay £3million.Embed from Getty Images
And that appears a price that the Hoops are unwilling to pay, with the same story claiming Celtic are more likely to offer £1million plus some players on loan – such as out-of-favour Jack Hendry.
Regardless of how the move might be structured, it would be a big loss to Angelo Alessio and Kilmarnock if Taylor was to go.
And club captain Gary Dicker said as much, per this Football Scotland report.
Taylor is obviously plugged into the speculation surrounding his future and actually liked the tweet Football Scotland put out about Dicker commenting on his future:
Can we read into this at all though?
Taylor may just appreciate his teammate praising him and highlighting how important he is to Kilmarnock.
With just over a week of the summer transfer window remaining, Celtic will have to move fast if they are to sign Taylor.
