Harry Maguire Hits Out at Trolls After ‘Racial Abuse’ of Paul Pogba On Social Media

Harry Maguire has hit out at online trolls after the alleged ‘racial abuse’ of Paul Pogba on social media.

It was reported by BBC Sport that the Manchester United midfielder was on the receiving end of racist messages following his side’s 1-1 draw with Wolves last night.

Pogba missed a penalty in the game and that led to some frustration among supporters. But it appears some fans chose an extreme way to share that frustration.

After the reporting of the news that United were ‘disgusted’ at the abuse, Pogba’s teammate Maguire took to Twitter to hit out at the trolls and offer his solution for the situation:

Is Maguire’s suggestion for dealing with trolls and abusive messages on social media a good one?

With last night’s 1-1 draw at Molineux, United moved up into fourth in the English Premier League table.

They now take on Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday and Pogba will be looking to forget all about that missed penalty with a strong performance and win.
