However, according to reliable reporters for both STV and Sky Sports, English League One side Sunderland have shown their hand by lodging a bid for Taylor, only for their offer to be turned down by the Killie hierarchy:
Taylor made his full international debut for Scotland in June’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Belgium, after playing a crucial part in Kilmarnock’s impressive third-place finish in last season’s Premiership campaign.
