Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp lamented his side’s defensive lapses and mishaps after losing the Community Shield Final this afternoon – whilst singling out Andy Robertson‘s backside for criticism.

The Reds drew 1-1 with Manchester City at Wembley Stadium after goals from Joel Matip and Raheem Sterling, but ultimately missed out on silverware after losing on penalties, and Klopp was his usual forthright self when speaking to the media after the full-time whistle.

However, few fans, pundits and journalists expected Andy Robertson’s derriere to be a top of discussion – even from the usually eccentric German coach:

Robertson – and his apparently sizeable backside – has been universally popular with Liverpool supporters since moving to Anfield from Hull City for just £8 million back in 2017, but what do you make of Klopp’s light-hearted comments?

And do you think Liverpool’s long wait for the Premier League title will finally come to an end in 2020?
