Liverpool Fans Are Desperate for Their Club to Enter the Race to Sign Philippe Coutinho

It looks like Philippe Coutinho could be heading out of Barcelona before the English transfer window slams shut – and Liverpool supporters are begging their club to get in the race for the Brazilian.

Ever since moving to the Nou Camp for a Β£140 million fee 18 months ago, things haven’t exactly gone swimming for the scheming midfielder, who has failed to nail down a regular spot in the Barca starting XI.

That has led to various reports claiming the 27-year-old could be on his way back to the Premier League before Thursday’s 5pm deadline – with ESPN claiming Spurs are keen on taking Coutinho on a season-long loan deal.

Given he was an absolute hero to Liverpool supporters during his stay at Anfield, there’s plenty of Reds fans who are wondering why they aren’t being heavily linked with a deal to bring Coutinho ‘home’:

Do you think an English side will have enough to push through a deal for Coutinho before the deadline?

And if Liverpool aren’t interested, why aren’t they?
