Neil Lennon Clears Up Scott Sinclair’s Celtic Future

Neil Lennon has cleared up Scott Sinclair‘s Celtic future.

The Hoops manager faced the media this morning ahead of his side’s Scottish Premiership clash with Motherwell tomorrow.

Kieran Tierney was the big story going into that press conference after the left-back signed for Arsenal in a £25million move.

But another interesting story surrounded Sinclair, who was left out of Celtic’s Champions League qualifier with CFR Cluj on Wednesday night.

It was reported by Football Scotland that there was interest in Sinclair from Derby going into yesterday’s English transfer deadline and that may have been the reason for omission from the Hoops squad.

Yet Sinclair remained a Celtic player after that deadline – and now Lennon has cleared up his future:

So Sinclair is set to stay at Celtic for at least the next six months.

The Hoops winger has already played three times for the club this season, appearing twice against Sarajevo before playing in the second leg of their second round tie with Nomme Kalju.
