Oli McBurnie poked fun at Celtic after their shock Champions League exit to CFR Cluj last night.
The Scotland international might be born and bred in England and play for Sheffield United, but he’s a self-confessed Rangers fan.
So he must have been watching on happily as Cluj beat the Hoops 4-3 at Celtic Park last night to reach the final qualifying round before the Champions League group stages.
At least that’s what his tweet from after the game suggests:
Celtic had drawn 1-1 with Cluj out in Romania last week and would have been confident going into last night’s game.
Cluj took the lead last night and actually went into half-time with a 2-1 lead in the tie, but Celtic flew out the traps after half-time to take a 2-1 lead on the night and a 3-2 advantage on aggregate.
But it was a mad remainder of the game, which saw Cluj equalise twice more before then scoring with almost the final kick off the ball to put the tie out of reach.
