Steven Gerrard has given an update on Rangers‘ pursuit of Ryan Kent.
The Ibrox manager spoke to the media this afternoon following a busy last 24 hours for the club.
His side beat Legia Warsaw 1-0 last night to clinch a Europa League group stage spot.
And they will have watched on this morning as they were drawn alongside Porto, Feyenoord and Young Boys in the groups.
Now Gerrard has faced the media ahead of his side’s Scottish Premiership clash with Celtic on Sunday.
He commented on that game, last night’s win and the Europa League group.
But he also gave an update on the status of Kent and if Rangers have any hope of signing him before Monday’s transfer deadline:
That isn’t the update Rangers fans will be wanting to read considering they’ve been linked with Kent for the whole transfer window.
Kent remains a Liverpool player at the moment and running out of options away from Anfield considering the transfer window in England has already closed.
