Rangers boss Steven Gerrard reckons his rampant side should’ve scored more this afternoon – despite thrashing Hibs 6-1 at Ibrox.

The Gers welcomed Paul Heckingbottom’s men to Govan today for what looked to be quite a tricky fixture for the home team, and it looked as though that would be the case when the teams went into the half-time break evenly poised at 2-1.

But a remarkable second-half saw Rangers run-out 6-1 victors, with Jermain Defoe scoring a hat-trick, before Alfredo Morelos bagged a double, and Sheyi Ojo put the icing on the cake.

As he faced the media afterwards, Gerrard was obviously delighted with how things panned out, but insisted there could have been even more goals fired past the helpless Ofir Marciano:

Rangers now host Danish side FC Midtjylland in the second-leg of their Europa League third round qualifier on Thursday, but what do you think of today’s result?

And Gerrard’s comments?
