Scott Sinclair had an alleged altercation with a member of staff at Motherwell this afternoon, according to Clyde Superscoreboard.
Celtic beat Motherwell 5-2 at Fir Park earlier, with Neil Lennon’s side recovering from 1-0 down to win all three points.
Sinclair was a late substitute for the visitors – his first appearance since speculation, per BBC, linked him with a move away from Glasgow.
That didn’t materialise before Thursday’s transfer deadline in England.
So Sinclair was back in the Celtic squad for today’s game and could be sticking around for another season.
He wasn’t involved in much in the game, but has hit headlines now after appearing to get into a scuffle with a Motherwell member of staff following the game:
Per Daily Record, Clyde Superscoreboard’s Gordon Dalziel witnessed the incident and said: “I’ve never witnessed anything like that. The two guys were ready to go for each other.
“Scott Sinclair wouldn’t let it go – I’m not sure what’s upset him.”
According to that article, it was a member of the Motherwell ground staff who Sinclair was arguing with.
But it’s not been clarified just why the Celtic winger was so angry.
