Bobby Duncan Finally Completes Protracted Move From Liverpool to Fiorentina

Liverpool youngster Bobby Duncan has completed his protracted move from the Anfield club to Serie A side Fiorentina – after his agent claimed the Reds’ refusal to do business was affecting his player’s mental health.

Duncan, 18, is rated as one of the club’s most promising young players and made several appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s first team during pre-season, but it seems the teenager wasn’t willing to wait for a proper crack at the senior side.

The attacker is the cousin of Rangers boss and Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, and last week his agent Saif Rubie became embroiled in a nasty Twitter spat with another Anfield hero, Jamie Carragher, after claiming Duncan had been badly affected by Liverpool’s refusal to sell him.

However, earlier this evening, before the European transfer window slammed shut, the transfer was confirmed with Duncan heading to Florence for a new challenge:

What do you think of the mini-saga, and how do you think Duncan will fare in Serie A?
