Celtic Fans Seriously Impressed By Jeremie Frimpong’s Senior Debut

Jeremie Frimpong made his full Celtic debut against Partick Thistle tonight and plenty of the club’s supporters were seriously impressed by his performance.

The 18-year-old right-back was handed his first start for the Hoops since completing a move from Manchester City on transfer deadline day, and he was one of the standout players in the Hoops’ 5-0 quarter-final victory.

Not only was Frimpong making his senior debut for Celtic, but the teenager was actually making his senior debut for any club, after several seasons in City’s youth team.

And his lung-bursting runs, committed tackles and ability to read the game seems to have won Frimpong plenty of fans early into his four-year contract:

Given nobody has really properly nailed down the right-back slot at Celtic this season, could Frimpong be the answer for Neil Lennon?
