Celtic Brutally Troll Rangers on Twitter with ‘Welcome to the Party’ Reference

Celtic‘s media team have brutally trolled Rangers and their supporters this evening on Twitter, following the Hoops’ 2-0 victory at Ibrox today.

Neil Lennon’s men travelled across Glasgow to the home of their bitter rivals this afternoon and proceeded to pull-off a convincing victory, thanks to goals from Odsonne Edouard and substitute Jonny Hayes.

As we told you earlier, Lennon declared the win the most satisfying Old Firm triumph of his near twenty-year association with Celtic, and it seems the people behind the Parkhead club’s social media outlets are soaking up every minute of the result, as they referenced Rangers’ ‘Welcome to the Party’ chant and hashtag that has been used frequently since the start of the season:

The result means Celtic are now three points clear of their arch enemies at the top of the Premiership, going into the international break.

But what do you think of the Celtic media team rubbing salt into the wounds?
