Chelsea Set to Suffer Demotion On FIFA 20

Chelsea are set to suffer a demotion on FIFA 20 after losing their five-star rating on the game’s demo.

The Stamford Bridge club are one of the team’s included in the demo, which was released yesterday.

The game isn’t actually released in full until September 27th, but the demo gives supporters a chance to play some of its new features while also reading into some ratings.

One rating that will interest Chelsea fans is the overall rating of the team, with the English side set to drop from a five-star side to a four-and-a-half-star side.

At least that is what the demo is saying, as shared on Twitter by one player:

Chelsea did finish third in the Premier League and won the Europa League last season, but they’ve lost Eden Hazard to Real Madrid and David Luiz to Arsenal in the summer and haven’t been able to replace them due to their current transfer ban.

It’s also Frank Lampard’s first season in charge of the club and their inconsistent start to the Premier League campaign suggests it will be a tough debut.

But do they deserve the ratings demotion if FIFA 20 ends up putting them in at four-and-a-half stars?
