Arsenal fans have got some good news on Kieran Tierney’s return to full fitness.
The Gunners signed the Scotland international from Celtic in a £25million deal in August.
Since then, he’s been continuing his recovery from an injury picked up at Celtic, with Tierney undergoing surgery to sort a hernia problem.
Arsenal had been officially communicating, per their official website, that Tierney was set for a return to full training in October.
But the left-back is now back in full training a month before that predicted October return – and that is big news for Unai Emery, his Arsenal squad and the supporters.
Per arsenal.com today, the club confirmed Tierney’s return.
Now the countdown will be on to Tierney’s full Arsenal debut – with Emery’s side set to play some big games over the coming month.
They are away at Watford on Sunday before kicking off their Europa League campaign against Eintracht Frankfurt next midweek.
Arsenal play Manchester United in their final game of September and Tierney may have his sights set on that game for a return.
