Odsonne Edouard Shares Happiness at Celtic After Two Goals For France U21s

Odsonne Edouard has spoken about his happiness at Celtic after grabbing headlines for scoring twice for France Under 21s.

The Hoops striker joined up with the French Under 21 side last week after putting in a man of the match performance against Rangers.

He scored once at Ibrox and had a hand in Jonny Hayes’ goal in the 2-0 win for Celtic.

And he followed that up with two goals as France beat Albania 4-0.

Edouard didn’t actually start the game, but climbed off the bench to hit the net twice.

He’s understandably grabbed some headlines as a result, with the French media tipping Edouard for a big career, per The Daily Record.

Now the Celtic striker has spoken about how happy he is in Glasgow – and that will come as music to the ears of Hoops fans who want to keep him at the club.

Per French football writer Jeremy Smith:

Edouard has scored six goals in 11 games to start the season for Celtic and will no doubt be targeting double figures for the campaign.
