Plenty of Manchester United Fans Raging with Decision to Sell Lee O’Connor to Celtic

Manchester United supporters are pretty upset with their club’s decision to let promising youngster Lee O’Connor sign for Celtic.

The versatile 19-year-old defender departed Old Trafford for Glasgow last night, and managed to beat the midnight transfer deadline to sign a four-year deal at Celtic Park.

O’Connor failed to make any competitive appearances for United’s first-team but he seems to have been one of the Red Devils’ highest-rated young players, having been a regular standout for the Under-23s.

Moreover, O’Connor was included in United’s squad for last season’s Champions League campaign under Jose Mourinho no less.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international’s move to Celtic came a little out of the blue last night, and it appears it’s definitely left plenty of United fans a mixture of angry and baffled by the decision to let him go:

What do you think of United’s decision to let O’Connor depart, and how do you think he’ll fare in the Scottish Premiership?
